July 1: Berenize Haro

Today we took the subway and explored the Tsukiji Fish Market. I was able to try some fresh fish and see many of the things the market had to offer. I tried grilled squid and eel marinated in teriyaki sauce which was very tasty. I was able to visit a temple near the market that was very beautiful. I also made a visit to Asakusa to do some shopping. I was very impressed by the artistic crafts that I saw when I was exploring Akasuka.  I purchased a beautiful teapot set which was hand painted. I was struck by the beautiful art work that I saw when I was wandering around Akasuka.
